The server pay per download HOTFILE occurring in a file upload it.
If you upload a file to the day in a week you can reach out about 30 or 40 $ (after you receive in Euros or $ depend on the country) they pay you by Paypal.
As time passes and accumulating files you can get to make about 300 $ / month, and you'll just have to go up, because the files you have uploaded do their job
In short, it's like rapidshare or megaupload but get paid (and well).

Important, EVERY MONDAY charged with giving you money weekly, no waiting
An advantage over other server is that you can make copies of files uploaded, so if you could erase return to the poles or to change the link without uploading them again.
Ultimately they are all advantages.
